Job summary

eSystems, Inc. is seeking a Reports Developer to support NC FAST reporting and data extraction using Oracle and PL/SQL. The contract role requires 5+ years of experience and will involve designing, coding, testing, and maintaining data extracts and dashboards for the NC Department of Health and Human Services.

The position is hybrid in Raleigh, NC with a 12-month term and potential extension. The ideal candidate should have strong SQL skills, experience with ETL tools, and familiarity with BI

Qualifications

Experience with Oracle, Oracle Utilities, and ETL tools.
PL/SQL scripting and relational database modeling experience.
Knowledge of structured system development methodologies.
Ability to build strong customer relationships and respond with urgency.
Ability to organize, prioritize and follow complex technical procedures.
Experience with BI tools such as Business Objects or BIRT.
Experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe).
Data Warehouse experience.
Experience building dashboards with Power BI and Azure Synapse.
Familiarity with Amazon RedShift and Tableau.

Responsibilities

Analyze reporting requirements for NC FAST Case Management System reports and data interfaces.
Develop data extracts, ETL batch jobs and reports using Oracle technologies.
Design, code, test, debug, and document data interfaces and reporting solutions.
Write efficient SQL queries on large tables storing CLOBS/XML; optimize performance.

NC FAST requires the services of a report developer to provide business and systems analysis, modeling, design, and programming for FNS and SNAP reports development and maintenance operations using ORACLE, and PL\SQL programming technologies.

The NC Department of Health and Human Services seeks a contractor to assist with implementation and maintenance of data extracts, ETL batch jobs, and reports, for NC Families Accessing Services through Technology (NC FAST) using Cúram Software product and Oracle. The selected candidate will analyze and identify reporting requirements for NC FAST Case Management System reports and implement recommendations to effectively report data of mid to high level complexity. This is related to varied business metrics and for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting data interfaces and reporting solutions, while enhancing existing data extracts and reports to ensure that solutions continue to meet business needs.
Selected candidate must understand the underlying data sources (databases) and interpret requirements provided by the business to analyze operational issues and develop appropriate diagnostic and/or tracking data via reports and dashboards. Duties include but are not limited to gathering and documenting requirements for new as well as changes to existing data extracts and report, developing complex queries against big tables storing CLOBS/XML, necessary supporting data structures, and report layouts, and writing effective SQL queries that perform well even against large tables. This role will also analyze existing queries and report and query data to fix issues and extract data and develop and analyze operational performance metrics and reports to ensure the quality and integrity of extracts though the use of validation and audit strategies. This position will have responsibility for 24x7 On Call support/rotation.
