Job Description

The Reporting Specialist is responsible for collecting, reviewing, tracking, and finalizing production data and periodic progress reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Responsible for providing reporting support for the contract with the ability to pull year-over-year information to assist with data review and analysis. Ensures accuracy of data and provides reports on both pre-demand and post-demand activities by pulling data and compiling reports while ensuring quality and timely submission. This position is 100% remote. Medicare experience is required.

Essential Requirements

• Ability to obtain a government security clearance.
• Excellent communication skills (oral, presentation, written) and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel and MS Access.
• Knowledge of federal regulations, guidelines, and supporting technology.
• Operational knowledge in administrative and project management practices.
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting templates, and project management tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in teams, and to manage multiple priorities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze collected data for accuracy and relevance, ensuring timely receipt from various sources.
• Maintain reporting archives and update shared drives and LMS.
• Develop and improve reporting tools and templates, and support data collection and analysis.
• Assist management in developing reporting directives and act as backup for other specialists.
• Review reports for errors, finalize reports, and prepare ad hoc statistics as needed.
• Proactively communicate progress, suggest improvements, and ensure quality standards.
• Respond to service requests, follow instructions, and uphold high standards of work and confidentiality.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of relevant experience, or equivalent. Medicare experience is required.

Physical Demands

Primarily office work; includes sitting, using hands, speaking, hearing, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Accommodations available for disabilities.

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated pay range: $43K - $50K, depending on location, skills, and experience. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Family Planning, Disability Insurance, Legal Aid, EAP, PTO, and holidays.
