Daily Mail US is seeking an Exclusives Reporter to break high-impact stories from original on-the-ground reporting. You will identify, develop, and publish exclusive stories, chasing leads, and interviewing sources under tight deadlines in a dynamic digital newsroom.

You will collaborate with editors, photographers, video teams, and social media producers while maintaining accuracy, ethics, and legal compliance. A proven track record in agenda-setting exclusives is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in digital, newspaper, magazine, television, or multimedia journalism.
• Proven track record of publishing exclusive, agenda-setting stories.
• Outstanding reporting, interviewing, and writing skills.
• Strong understanding of sourcing, verification, and fact-checking.
• Experience covering breaking news in a fast-paced newsroom.

About The Role

As an Exclusives Reporter, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and breaking news that drives the national conversation.

Working closely with editors and colleagues, you will cultivate sources, pursue investigative leads, conduct interviews, and produce compelling, accurate journalism under tight deadlines. This role requires excellent news judgment, persistence, creativity, and the confidence to chase stories wherever they lead.

About What You'll Do

• Monitor developing news, court filings, public records, social media, and industry contacts for emerging stories.
• Work collaboratively with editors, photographers, video teams, and social media producers.
• Travel for reporting assignments when required.
• Ensure all reporting meets the highest editorial, legal, and ethical standards.
• Contribute to follow-up coverage, enterprise features, and longer-term investigative projects.
