The Undergraduate Student Clerical Worker performs general office work such as typing, copying, filing, sorting, indexing, reception duties, and accounting tasks.

Communication
Respond to emails, messages, team chats and phone calls the same day, professionally representing OMN. Ensuring you are using, checking and responding to project management platform (Basecamp, Discord, etc.). Proactively communicates work status with editor(s). Notify adviser immediately should any ethical, legal, personnel or controversial problems occur.
Leadership
Follow all OMN policies and procedures including professionalism and deadlines. Ensure designs and content are centered on equitable representation and inclusion, with attention to impact on historically underrepresented and marginalized communities and constituencies.

Employment is Sept. 8, 2026 through the academic year. May require standing or sitting for extended periods and occasional lifting. Hours are flexible and may require working nights or weekends depending on events and news.
