Job summary

You'll load/unload trucks, pick cases, maintain inventory accuracy, and work in a cold environment (34°F). Entry-level pay starts at $20 per hour with 10% off-hours and 15% weekend premiums, based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college courses/technical training preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a distribution center or warehouse atmosphere using powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack, stock pickers).
• Strong mechanical ability, troubleshooting skills and detail-orientation.
• Strong quantitative problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Must follow GMP and Safety requirements.
• Ability to learn SKUs TiHi pattern.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a cold environment (34°F).

Responsibilities

• Transport pallets from rack staging areas to designated area using sit down forklift.
• Interface with automated inventory tracking systems.
• Ability to read, understand, execute, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Operate, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on automated palletizers, conveyors, and blast coolers.
• Counts and verifies identifying information.
• Affixes shipping labels on and inspects outgoing shipments to ensure specifications.
• Accurately pick cases for customer orders.
• Maintain quality control, production goals, proper rotation of products, and inventory accuracy.
• Follow GMPs, housekeeping and safe work practices.
