Job summary

Friedman’s Home Improvement is seeking a Replenishment Team Member (Day Stocker/Courtesy Clerk) in California. You will stock shelves, assist customers, and support loading products into cars while ensuring a high level of service.

Responsibilities include handling returns, stocking, and occasional register duties. The role emphasizes safety, attendance, and teamwork within a busy store environment.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail for accurate product placement and SKUs.
• Ability to work independently for large portions of a shift.
• Team-oriented with the goal of meeting store needs.
• Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and execute tasks.
• Experience with D365 POS and handheld devices for product labeling.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by guiding customers to products and connecting them with a Sales Specialist.
• Assist customers with Carry Out by loading items into vehicles and assisting with pickup of returns for restocking.
• Cut keys and provide basic customer services as needed.
• Return returned items to shelves and restock as required.
• Assist with general stocking, returns, carts, and keeping aisles clean.
• Cross-train to answer questions at registers during peak times.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Operate equipment safely (pallet jacks, stock picker) to stock shelves.

Replenishment Team Members are responsible for placing and stocking staged product onto the sales floor, assisting customers with loading product into their car and pick-up returned merchandise for restocking.Essential DutiesReplenishment (Day Stocker/Courtesy Clerk)Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that customers are taken to the product and that a Sales Specialist is available for further assistance.Assist customers with Carry Out radio calls by carefully loading product into customer vehicles in a professional mannerProvide customer services such as cutting keys as neededResponsible for returning returned items to shelvesAssist in all store requests such as but not limited to re-stocking returns, retrieving carts and baskets from the parking lot, emptying recycling and/or trash bins, cleaning restroomsCross trained to answer 214s by ringing on a register during peak/busy timesRegular and predictable attendanceReplenishmentResponsible for removing empty pallets from the sales floor immediatelyEnsure that safety is the number one priority by utilizing equipment (i.e., stock picker, pallet jacks, etc.) safely, cleaning up spills per 3E hazmat guidelines and keeping aisles clear while stockingStocks shelves, counters or tables with merchandise as requestedEquipment Operation such as pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers, saws and specialty equipment where neededEnsure accurate stocking of product home from the U-boats or pallets of freight by aisle and direction given from Manager/CoordinatorMatching model/item numbers from package to shelf.
