- Create monthly demand plan with sales team to ensure assumptions are validated and unresolved issues are escalated appropriately
- Communicate with customers replenishment teams to resolve issues and take advantage of opportunities
- Influence key business partners by leveraging data to develop the best in class forecast
- Monitor shipment performance versus the item level forecast and determine root-cause to improve accuracy
- Perform special projects as assigned
- Participate in process improvement projects as it relates to forecasting
Skills needed for success:
- Comfortable working with large sets of data and transforming this data into critical information and insight to support business decisions
- Demonstrated track record of achieving goals
- Strong strategic and tactical skills and an ability to solve problems and set priorities
- Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to adjust style to effectively interact with external customers and internal cross functional team members
- Ability to translate strategy into actionable plans
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience which could include sales planning, production scheduling/operations planning, and/or demand planning & forecasting
- Prior experience working with Walmart/Sam's Club is a requirement
- Demonstrated experience/knowledge related to Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)
- Advanced Excel knowledge
Notes:
- This is a remote role based out of Arkansas
- This role will pay between $75,000 - $95,000 per year based on experience + a 15% bonus
