Job description

Position: Inventory Planner
Job Type: Full-Time - 100% Remote
Working hours: US Timezone (PST)

Role Summary

Own demand forecasting and supply planning to keep bestsellers in stock while minimizing carrying costs. You will drive the S&OP process, leveraging Fulfil.io ERP to translate sales signals into actionable purchase orders and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate weekly demand forecasts down to SKU level using historical sales, promo calendars, and trend data.
• Convert forecasts into time-phased replenishment plans in Fulfil.io; trigger POs to factories and 3PLs.
• Monitor inbound shipments, lead times, and safety-stock thresholds; surface risks before they impact OTIF.
• Partner with Marketing & Sales to model inventory needs around launches, bundles, and flash promotions.
• Track inventory KPIs (days of supply, fill rate, stock-outs, excess/obsolete) and present root-cause insights.
• Collaborate with Finance on inventory valuation, landed cost analysis, and EOQ optimization.
• Continuously refine planning parameters—MOQ, min/max, reorder points—to improve cash turns.
  
  

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ inventory or demand-planning experience in a CPG, e-commerce, or retail environment.
• Proven daily user of Fulfil.io ERP for forecasting, purchasing, and inventory management.
• Strong analytical toolkit: advanced Excel (lookups, pivots, Power Query), demand-planning software a plus.
• Solid grasp of freight, customs, and 3PL processes in global supply chains.
• Excellent English communication; able to coordinate with suppliers and teams across the Americas and Asia.
