Job summary

EXFO is seeking an Asa Service Center Repair Technician in Georgia to troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate electronic and optical test equipment. You will operate precision test systems, document labour and analysis in SAP, and provide repair estimates as needed.

We require 2–3 years in electronic test equipment service, English fluency, and a college electronics program. Knowledge of ERP/SAP and attention to detail are highly valued for timely, accurate results.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency (spoken, reading, writing).

Job summary

Asa Service Center Repair Technician you will:

• Troubleshoot, repair, or calibrate electronic and optical test equipment as required
• Operate various test equipment and tools needed to perform repairs and calibrations
• Document parts, labour time, and analysis notes in SAP ERP
• Provide repair estimates as required

What we’re looking for

• Experience electronic and fiber optic equipment
• Experience with analog and digital electronic circuits and technology is required
• Experience with handling of electronic equipment is required
• Experience with electronic troubleshooting and repair methods is required
• Experience with the use of ERP (experience with SAP is an asset)
• Knowledge of EXFO products and operation would be an asset
• Very good computer literacy and understanding of databases, email, and spreadsheets.
• Good verbal and written reporting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail to produce a high-rate of ‘right-first-time’ results in all work.
• Ability to learn new skills, technologies, and ideas rapidly.
• Ability to work to within deadlines and under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude at all times.

Requirements
