Job summary

Axis CLC Group is seeking a highly organised Scheduler to join our Repairs and Maintenance team. You’ll plan and schedule repairs and maintenance works, acting as the central communications hub between residents, operatives, supervisors and client teams.

You’ll drive efficient workloads, prioritise tasks, and ensure updates across all systems while delivering a high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, planning, administration or high-volume customer service.
• Experience within social housing, repairs or maintenance environments.
• Knowledge of repairs terminology and KPIs.
• Proficient with scheduling systems and IT tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, handling enquiries, bookings and appointment changes.
• Plan, schedule and manage repairs and maintenance works efficiently.
• Allocate and update jobs using scheduling systems (ROCC, DRS, Opti-time).
• Coordinate daily workloads with supervisors and operatives.
• Manage emergencies and priority works, escalating after-hours when required.
• Monitor progress and close jobs within target timescales.
• Ensure operatives use PDAs and digital systems.
• Act as the communication link between residents, operatives and client teams.
• Maintain accurate records and updates across systems.
• Support the wider scheduling team during absences.
