Job summary

Transco Rail Services is seeking a Repair Technician I in Texarkana, AR to perform basic rail car repairs and related tasks. You will work with metal or weldable materials, following layouts, blueprints, and work orders in a TEAM environment to ensure quality and safety.

The role requires reading specs, shop drawings, and schematics, and operating a range of tools from pneumatic to welding equipment. Heavy lifting and exposure to adverse weather are expected; drug and physical tests are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable or willing to learn air brake test.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds with proper technique.
• Must be able to pass drug screen and physical.

You will repair parts of metal or other weldable materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches.
