L&S Electric is seeking a Repair Technician (Electro-Mechanical) for the 2nd shift in Appleton, Wisconsin. Bring mechanical and electrical skills to refurbish and repair rotating electrical equipment and support the repair team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include reading job cards, disassembling equipment, performing inspections, using test gear safely, and assisting with assembly under supervision. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualificações

• Fluent English required for job cards and safety instructions.
• Experience with electrical/mechanical equipment preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities:

• Work with other employees to complete general project needs.
• Refurbish and repair a variety of rotating electrical apparatus.
• Able to read job cards to determine job status and work to be performed.
• Disassemble incoming electrical apparatus.
• Perform and record incoming visual and electrical inspections.
• Safely operate and understand a variety of test equipment.
• Assist with an assembly of electrical apparatus under the guidance of more senior craftsperson.
• Additional training with higher level employees in other functions of department.

Requirements:

• Able to provide basic hand tools needed for the position.
• Able to wear PPE require for position, as needed.
• Able to perform fine detail work with hands.
• Able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Able to work for any employer in the United States.
• Able to work overtime as needed and in the field at client sites.
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekdays, and weekends to meet customer service requirements.
• Experience with rigging and lifting heavy loads, and operating overhead cranes.

Preferred :

• Electrical and mechanical background.
• Occasional lifting of heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
• Extended periods of standing and/or bending.
