Job summary

L&S Electric in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled craftsman to join our team. You will refurbish and repair rotating electrical apparatus, read job cards to determine required work, and disassemble incoming equipment while maintaining safety standards.

You will use test equipment, assist with assembly under supervision, and participate in training with senior staff. Applicants should have basic hand tools, English fluency, and willingness to work overtime, including weekends, at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Willing to work OT, weekdays and weekends.
• Able to provide basic hand tools for the position.
• Experience with rigging and lifting heavy loads; operating overhead cranes.
• Electrical and mechanical background preferred.

• Refurbish and repair a variety of rotating electrical apparatus.

Requirements:

• Able to provide basic hand tools needed for the position.
• Able to wear PPE require for position, as needed.
• Able to perform fine detail work with hands.
• Able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Able to work for any employer in the United States.
• Able to work overtime as needed and in the field at client sites.
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekdays, and weekends to meet customer service requirements.
• Experience with rigging and lifting heavy loads, and operating overhead cranes.

Preferred :

• Electrical and mechanical background.
• Occasional lifting of heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
• Extended periods of standing and/or bending.
