Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Repair Tech B to identify and repair defects on fiberglass boat surfaces. You will inspect boats, perform repairs by sanding, buffing, spraying, or dabbing, and collaborate with teammates to move boats in the production area.

Preferred candidates have at least 1 year in boat manufacturing and a vocational/technical education background, with strong attention to detail and safety awareness in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: minimum 1 year in boat manufacturing.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and shop safety.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.

POSITION SUMMARY

Repair Tech B is responsible for identification and repairs of defects in boat surfaces.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Inspects completed fiberglass boat bodies, hulls, and parts for defects and blemishes.
• Repairs boat body and hull defects by sanding, buffing, spraying, or dabbing.
• Works in team to physically move boats in the production area.
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferred Degree: Trade, Tech or Vocational Education
• Years of experience: Minimum 1 year in boat manufacturing

• Skilled at using hand tools.
