Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking an Assembly B to perform final touch cleanup of boats and install specific parts during the rigging stage of manufacturing. The role requires use of hand tools, precise trimming, drilling and securing components, as well as applying decals and cleaning boats.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and strong manual dexterity, color vision, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Knowledge of multiple hand tools.
• Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.
• Specific visual requirements: ability to distinguish basic colors, and shades of color.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and installs boats' parts and accessories with screws, bolts and brackets.
• Pre-cuts hoses or trim to fit each boat model.
• Drills holes and prepares openings for components and hardware.
• Cleans boats using appropriate chemicals and applies decals.
• Changes vacuum filters as needed and performs other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Assembly B performs final touch cleanup of all boats and the installation of a specific part, furniture, or accessories during the rigging stage of the manufacturing process.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Develops the appropriate color and size parts to be installed in boats.

• Creates pre-cut hose or trim to correct length to fit appropriate boat model.

• Creates drill holes in appropriate location on deck into which screws, or bolts will be inserted to secure various accessories and parts

• Performs and trim pre-cut openings for better fit if necessary

• Performs the Install assigned part and accessories using a variety of securing devices such as: screws, bolts, hold down brackets, and hose clamps.

• Cleans boats using various chemicals.

• Applies decals.

• Changes vacuum filters as needed.

• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
