Job summary

Fairmont El San Juan Hotel in Puerto Rico is seeking a Maintenance Technician to upkeep guestrooms, public spaces and back-of-house areas, ensuring an attractive, well-maintained property on Isla Verde Beach. The role requires proven maintenance experience across electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry trades.

Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred; hospitality experience is a plus. The hotel offers learning programs, employee benefits, CSR initiatives and opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• Education: High school, Vocational or Technical school graduate.
• Language: Ability to speak English and Spanish.
• Computer knowledge: Windows platform.

Responsibilities

• Maintain guestrooms, public spaces and back-of-house areas to ensure a well-maintained hotel.
• Support preventative maintenance and timely repairs as needed.

Job Description

Fairmont San Juan Hotel Repair & Maintenance 2 is responsible for the overall maintenance of the guestrooms, public spaces and back of the house areas to ensure an attractive and well-maintained hotel.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

Education And Skills

• High school, Vocational or Technical school graduate
• Ability to speak English and Spanish
• Computer knowledge (windows platform)

Experience

• Required experience in maintenance trades, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• At least five to six years of progressive experience in hotel or related field required.
• Some hospitality experience preferred.
