Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks experienced Repair Development Engineers to join the Aeroderivative Engine Operations (AEO) team. You will help develop and implement repair solutions across our aeroderivative engine fleet, including LM500, LM5000, LM6000, LM2500, LMS100, and LM1600 products.

As a Repair Development Engineer, you will be an individual contributor leading projects within established policies, applying engineering judgment to solve complex problems, and collaborating across functions to move

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of 3 years of engineering, manufacturing, or repair experience.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and no sponsorship for employment visas.

Responsibilities

Develop repair and inspection technologies that support both short-term execution and long-term business needs.
Partner across engineering, manufacturing, operations, and other functions to develop, implement, and industrialize repairs for internal shops and customer facilities.
Interpret business challenges and recommend practical solutions to improve repair-related products, processes, and services.
Provide technical leadership on assigned projects and mentor less experienced engineers.
