D.O.M. magazine, a premier aviation maintenance publisher, is seeking an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic in Palm Springs, CA.

The role focuses on line maintenance tasks in a fast-paced airport environment, with responsibilities spanning inspections, repairs, and record-keeping. The ideal candidate holds an A&P license and has 3+ years of line maintenance experience in the airline industry, with on-site duties and potential swing shifts.

Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic - Palm Springs, CA Job Description

Aerotek is looking to hire Aircraft Mechanics to perform line maintenance at the Palm Springs Airport!

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting, including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems.
• Conduct all necessary airframe and power plant repairs and modifications to meet company and FAA requirements.
• Remove and disassemble defective parts, assemble and install replacement parts, and test aircraft systems.
• Operate all power tools and equipment necessary for job assignments.
• Complete and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Record time worked accurately on work orders.
• Interpret technical manuals and drawings.
• Tow and park aircraft.
• Perform additional aircraft maintenance work as required.
• A & P license.
• 3+ years of previous line maintenance experience within the airline industry.
• Line tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience and/or training on Airbus 319, 320, 321, Boeing 737, and/or E175/190 (preferred).
• The primary provider of Line Service for all airlines at the Palm Springs Airport, servicing over 17 airlines. The role includes a 5-day work week with up to 40 hours, shift to be determined, likely swing shift. Overtime may be required, and weekend availability is essential.

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palm Springs, California

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
