Job summary

Premier is seeking a warehouse associate to fill orders to specification in a high-volume manufacturing setting. You will pack, palletize, label and verify items while maintaining strict safety and quality standards on site.

Responsibilities include following procedures, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working 12- or 14-hour shifts as needed. Join a team focused on continuous improvement and cgmp-compliant documentation and training.

Qualifications

  • High school level courses or vocational training required.
  • Preferred: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Attention to detail and ability to read/write English and interpret numerical sequences.
  • Two years previous high-volume manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Follow safety protocols and quality standards when filling orders.
  • Efficiently fill orders to client specifications.
  • Pack boxes with correct units and verify quality.
  • Stack boxes on pallets according to the pattern and verify identification.
  • Report mechanical or safety issues promptly to supervision.
  • Meet production output goals for assigned product or process.
  • Follow procedures and tool usage for salt hanging.
  • Maintain housekeeping per 5S initiatives in work areas.
  • Contribute ideas to improve safety, processes and performance.
  • Work as a team with clear communication and respect.
  • Participate in cross-training to build flexibility.
  • Complete required trainings and cgmp paperwork timely.
  • Represent the company safely and professionally on site.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively; stand for long periods.
  • Overtime may be required; schedule may include 12- or 14-hour shifts.
  • Must have reliable transportation to work.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Required to follow all of Premier’s safety protocols while filling job orders to our Quality standards and procedures, including wearing Personal Protection Equipment at all times
  • Efficiently fill orders to clients’ specifications
  • Pack boxes with the appropriate number of units while verifying Quality standards
  • Stack correct number of boxes into the designated pallet pattern, and verify Quality and identification standards
  • Correct or communicate mechanical or safety issues to Operator A or Supervisor in a timely manner
  • Meet production output goals for assigned product or process
  • Follow correct procedures and tool usage for salt hanging
  • Responsible for housekeeping duties around work areas and general areas of the plant which may include sweeping, picking up debris, emptying wheelbarrows, or other containers, etc. as part of the 5S initiatives
  • Contribute ideas and process improvement suggestions to continuously improve safety, processes, and performance
  • Help create a strong team (line) through clear communication and respect
  • Participate in cross training to build a stronger more flexible team
  • Complete required trainings in a timely manner
  • Complete paperwork in a timely manner to cGMP standards
  • Always represent the company in a safe and professional manner while on company property or while wearing company branded clothing
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively; ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Flexibility to work any required overtime
  • Availability to work 12-hour shifts Monday – Thursday or 14-hour shift Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • Must have reliable transportation to work
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Required: High school level courses or vocational training classes
  • Preferred: High School Diploma or GED
  • Attention to detail and ability to read/write (English) and interpret numerical sequences, identify lot numbers, and to effectively communicate production issues
  • Two years previous high-volume manufacturing experience preferred
