Job summary

Twin City Foods, Inc. seeks a Repack General Labor team member to support packaging operations in a cold room environment.

You will inspect product, seal quality, hand-pack bags, and rotate through packaging stations while maintaining clean, safe work area; adherence to safety protocols is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspects product in cold room (45°F) for defects.
• Inspects Polybag seals and coding.
• Opens rejected bags and reintroduces product to the line or disposes in animal feed bins.
• Hand packs bags into cases at standard cycle times.
• Cleans working area as needed.
• Verifies case weights and closes cases before entering the taper.
• Rotates between packaging positions every 30 minutes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Inspects product in cold room (45 degrees F) removing and reporting and foreign material or defects.
• Inspecting Polybag seals and coding.
• Opening rejected bags and reintroducing product to the line in the cold room or disposing in animal feed bins.
• Hand packing bags into cases at standard cycle times determined by SKU.
• Clean working area as needed.
• Verifies case weights utilizing a case scale and close cases before entering the taper
• Rotate between positions throughout packaging room every 30 minutes
• Other Duties Assigned.
