Job summary

Twin City Foods, Inc. is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor for our Pasco, WA facility. The role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing all repack equipment and related areas to ensure a ready-to-run condition for daily operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining cold rooms and packaging areas, following safety protocols, and coordinating with maintenance staff on mechanical issues. On-the-job training is provided to develop the required skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of how machinery is assembled and disassembled.
• Knowledge of cleaning requirements.
• Use of sanitation chemicals; PPE, LOTO, Fall Prevention, safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize repack equipment after use, leave it ready to run.
• Clean and maintain cold room, scale mezzanine, and packaging room.
• Follow all safety protocols (LOTO, Fall Prevention, PPE).
• Disassemble/assemble packaging equipment as needed.
• Use sanitation chemicals safely and effectively.
• Store tools and utensils in designated area.
• Communicate mechanical problems to Repack Sani Lead and Maintenance staff.
• Complete all required documentation properly.
• Other duties as assigned.

We currently have a Sanitation Supervisor position available in our facility in Pasco, WA. As a Twin City Foods (Pasco Division) Repack Sanitation employee you will clean and sanitize all packaging equipment after each day’s use.

Repack Sanitation Should Have Experience In

• Working with sanitation chemicals
• Knowledge of sanitation chemicals and their proper use
• How to dispense sanitation chemicals
• Knowledge of cleaning SOP’s

Shift Time

10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

• Selected employee will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and E-Verify*

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all repack equipment after use, assuring that is left in a ready-to–run condition.
• Clean and maintain in an organized condition cold room, scale mezzanine and packaging room.
• Follow all safety protocols (LOTO, Fall Prevention, PPE use)
• Disassemble/assemble packaging equipment as needed.
• Use all sanitation chemicals necessary in a safe and effective manner.
• Store all tools and utensils in designated area.
• Communicate mechanical problems to Repack Sani Lead and/or Maintenance staff.
• Complete all required documentation in proper manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of how machinery is assembled and disassembled

Supervisory Responsibility

• May be asked to train new employees, otherwise none.

Personal Competencies Required

• Ability to communicate with supervisors and co-workers, sufficient visual acuity (corrected or uncorrected) to see any product residue.

Essential Physical Abilities

• Walk and stand continuously
• Climb stairs and ladders frequently
• Carry buckets with water and chemicals
• Scrub machinery with scrub pad or brush
• Use water hoses, coil and uncoil
• Extend to work area lift-up to 20 lbs.
