Job summary

Twin City Foods, Inc. in Pasco, WA is seeking a Repack Case Operator to set up and operate casing packing equipment and support Poly bag Operators. The role requires flexibility to cover multiple lines and perform duties on a fast-paced line.

You will follow safety policies, work in cold/warm environments, assist with training, perform setup/teardown, monitor processes, and contribute to continuous improvement. Two shifts available, Day and Night.

Qualifications

• Reads bag and case codes accurately.
• Reads scales for weight checks.
• Completes sample paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates casing packing equipment and machinery.
• Works across multiple lines as assigned by shift leadership.
• Relieves Poly operators for breaks and lunches.
• Monitors repack process to identify and rectify issues.
• Assists with setup and teardown of equipment as needed.
• Ensures materials and supplies are stocked for use.
• Collaborates with team to ensure efficient repack processes.
• Supports other areas of repack and line wash-down when necessary.
• Maintains an orderly work area and participates in continuous improvement.

This role requires the individual to be flexible, as they may be required to perform multiple duties across multiple lines as assigned by shift leadership. The Repack Case Operator must be adept at working in a fast-paced environment and able to complete assigned tasks quickly and efficiently.

• Knows and follows all company safety and food safety policies.
• Is flexible to work in different environments (cold/warm)
• Is flexible to cover for Poly operators when short handed
• Relieves Poly operators for breaks and lunches
• Helps with training of repack team members

Knowledge, Skill And Experience Required

• Ability to read bag and case coding, ability to read scales.
• Ability to complete sample paperwork.
• Basic knowledge of equipment and machinery used in a packaging environment.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Essential Physical Abilities

• Stand for 8 to 10 hrs. per day.
• Lifts/pulls/pushes weights of up to 55 lbs.
• Work in a cold environment

• Work in a loud environment

Hourly Wage $20.74
