Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Rockford is seeking a Rep - Slot Customer Service to support floor supervisors and assist players at the slot machines. You will redeem winning tickets, make change, explain game rules, and help with jackpots and routine machine maintenance.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, ability to pass background checks, and willingness to work holidays and weekends. Knowledge of casino slot machines is a plus and compliance with Illinois Gaming Regulations is essential.

Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Rep - Slot Customer Service is responsible for supporting the Floor Supervisors with operational responsibilities. This includes circulating throughout the casino area assigned and servicing player guests on the Slot machines by redeeming winning voucher tickets, making change for players, and assisting players with rules of the game and other general issues. They are also responsible for the payment of jackpots and various minor operational/guest service maintenance of machines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

(These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position)

• Perform all slot activities on the casino floor.
• Provides service throughout casino regularly.
• Balances and maintain coin/change/fill bank.
• Performs/verifies change buys, slot payouts and fills.
• Observes machine play.
• Performs all other related compatible duties as assigned.
• Promotes outstanding customer relations.
• Perform minor machine repair and maintenance.
• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing work and public spaces.
• Perform work regularly and adheres to all Illinois Gaming Regulations.

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Attend seminars when needed.

EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent and previous experience in Slot operations in a similar position strongly preferred. Knowledge of all casino slot machines and games a plus.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.)

• Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission.
• Must successfully pass background check.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.

KNOWLEDGE OF:

• Polished and professional presentation and communication style.
• Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
• Must be able to balance a cash bank.

ABILITY TO:

• Communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
• Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position.
• Maintain highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.
