REO Transaction Specialist I

Position Summary

The REO Transaction Specialist I plays a critical role in ensuring offers move seamlessly from contract to closing. The primary responsibility is to push offers to closing on time, document any delays, and maintain proactive communication with all parties involved. This includes issue resolution, inbound and outbound calls, and timely email communication with buyers, agents, and closing partners. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Management

• Ensure offers progress to closing per KPI timelines.
• Document delays and communicate updates to all stakeholders promptly.
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce or designated systems.

Communication & Issue Resolution

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with buyers, agents, lenders, sellers, and closing companies.
• Assist with all buyer communication (calls and emails) for offers under contract.
• Address escalations timely and drive resolution; document actions and outcomes.

Collaboration

• Work with internal teams and external partners to remove blockers and keep transactions on track.
• Support reporting on transaction performance and closing timelines.

Compliance & Quality Control

Review transaction data for accuracy and completeness. Ensure adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements. Maintain audit-ready documentation.
