Job summary

WER Rentals and Events is looking for a Warehouse Manager in Dripping Springs, TX to oversee daily warehouse operations for event rentals, including tents, chairs, tables, and other inventory. You will manage inventory, ensure proper storage, and support timely delivery to events.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in warehousing or logistics, and proficiency with inventory management software and MS Office. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and safety compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Proven warehouse management or operations experience required; event rentals experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership abilities to manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office; WMS experience is advantageous.

Primary Job Duties

• 1. Inventory Management:
  
  
  
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and inventory control of event rental items, ensuring accurate counts and proper storage conditions.
  
  
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate records and identify needs for restocking or repair.
  
  
  • Implement efficient inventory tracking systems to monitor the availability and condition of all items.
  
  
  
  


• 2. Warehouse Organization and Safety:
  
  
  
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of equipment.
  
  
  • Develop and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries within the warehouse environment.
  
  
  • Conduct regular safety training and meetings for warehouse staff to promote a culture of safety.
  
  
  
  


• 3. Supervision and Staff Management:
  
  
  
  • Manage and schedule a team of warehouse staff, providing direction and training as necessary to ensure efficient operations.

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all warehouse equipment, ensuring that everything is in good working condition.
  
  
  • Work with the Operations team to identify items that require repair or replacement and manage the necessary processes.
  
  
  
  


• 6. Reporting and Documentation:
  
  
  
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, equipment conditions, and deliveries, providing regular reports to the Director of Operations.
  
  
  • Document any incidents or concerns related to warehouse operations and develop action plans for resolution.
  
  
  
  

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.


• Experience: Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics, or operations is required; experience within the event rental industry is a plus.


• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.


• Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with warehouse management systems is advantageous.


• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
