Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly, motivated Customer Service Representative in Minot, North Dakota. This role involves assisting customers with rentals, educating on products, and ensuring equipment is safe and ready for use.

Responsibilities include handling invoices, managing inventory with U-Scan, and performing equipment setup such as hitching, wiring, and propane filling (certifications offered after hire). A valid driver's license and high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to educate customers on products and services.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers and inspect equipment.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring and fill propane (certification offered upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered upon employment) and participate in ongoing U-Haul education.
