Job summary

Leppo Rents is seeking a yard and deliveries associate to keep our rental equipment moving and our yard organized. You will perform checks, handle local deliveries, load and unload gear, and coordinate with customers during pickups and returns.

Ideal candidates hold a CDL A license, have a high school diploma or GED, and enjoy working outdoors in all weather. This role offers a stable schedule and opportunities for growth within the team.

Responsibilities

Just Got Your CDL… But Don’t Want to Live on the Road? If you want a role where you’re not stuck in a seat all day — this is it.

In this role, you’ll handle yard operations and local equipment deliveries — no long hauls, no over-the-road grind. You’ll spend part of your time making local deliveries, and the rest keeping everything running smoothly in the yard.

This role gives you the best of both worlds:

• Stay local (home every night)
• Get hands-on with equipment
• Some driving — but not all driving

Business Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (your evenings & weekends are free!)

What You’ll Do

• Perform checks to ensure equipment is clean, safe, and rent-ready
• Handle local deliveries and transfers (no long-haul driving)
• Load, secure, and unload equipment safely
• Work closely with team members and customers during pickups and returns
• Help maintain a safe yard and report any issues
• Support the rental, service, and parts teams with yard operations

What We’re Looking For

• A high school diploma or GED
• A valid CDL Class Alicense and acceptable driving record
• Someone who enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physically able to handle lifting, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling
• A safety-first mindset with integrity and reliability
• A team player who doesn’t mind jumping in wherever needed
