Job summary

Wyoming Machinery Company in Sheridan, WY is seeking an equipment operator to load/unload and operate various machinery, inspect runability, and report any damages with care to safety.

Applicants need a high school diploma, a valid CDL, and experience operating equipment; strong mechanical skills and verbal/written communication are essential.

You will work on site in all weather, keep yards orderly, and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license (driving record must meet company insurance standards; driving record is reviewed annually).
• CDL is required.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company in appearance and work habits.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITY

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Valid drivers’ license (driving record must meet company insurance standards; driving record is reviewed annually)
• CDL

• Experience operating various pieces of equipment
• Good verbal and written skills
• Possess sufficient mechanical skills to perform minor repairs
• Able to troubleshoot problems

PREFERRED

• Minimum of one-year mechanical experience

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• Exposure to all weather conditions, dirt, grease, noise, etc.
• Safely climb on equipment in the shop and/or field
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comply with all company safety requirements and wear all personal protective equipment when required
