Job summary

White Cap is hiring a Rental Yard Associate in Memphis to remove debris from rental equipment, ensure good condition before dispatch, inspect for damage, and prepare orders for delivery. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods in a dynamic yard environment.

Preferred qualifications include forklift experience and knowledge of construction products, with Spanish language ability valued to support a diverse customer base.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.

Responsibilities

• Removes dirt, concrete, or other debris from rental equipment and area using provided hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Ensures all rental equipment is in good, useable condition before it goes out to the customer.
• Inspects all rental equipment for damage. Reports any damage according to established procedure.
• Oils and lubricates all tools, equipment and tilt-up braces according to specifications.
• Prepares and stages rental orders to go out for delivery.
• Follows company safety policy and procedures.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment. Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 0-2 years of experience.
