Job summary

White Cap is seeking a Rental Yard Associate in Raleigh, NC to support the rental yard operations. You’ll remove debris, inspect equipment, and prepare orders for delivery while maintaining safety and equipment readiness in a fast-paced outdoor setting.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and availability to work Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4 PM. Prior forklift experience is preferred and knowledge of construction products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Remove dirt, debris, and old materials from rental equipment and yard
• Inspect rental equipment for damage and ensure good condition before checkout
• Oil and lubricate tools and equipment per specifications
• Prepare and stage rental orders for delivery
• Follow safety policies and procedures
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Typically 0–2 years of experience

A Rental Yard Associate at White Cap…

• Removes dirt, concrete, or other debris from rental equipment and area using provided hand tools and cleaning equipment.

• Ensures all rental equipment is in good, useable condition before it goes out to the customer.

• Inspects all rental equipment for damage. Reports any damage according to established procedure.

• Oils and lubricates all tools, equipment and tilt-up braces according to specifications.

• Prepares and stages rental orders to go out for delivery.

• Follows company safety policy and procedures.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment. Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Generally has 0-2 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.

• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.

• Ability to work outside and in a non-climate-controlled environment

• Able to lift up to 50lbs.

• Ability to work Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4 PM
