Job summary

White Cap is hiring a Rental Yard Associate for an on-site role in Indianapolis. You will help build America’s skyline by preparing and delivering rental equipment, inspecting gear, and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a warehouse or rental setting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work outdoors and outdoors conditions.

Responsibilities

• Removes dirt, concrete, or debris from rental equipment and area using hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Ensures all rental equipment is in good, usable condition before it goes out to the customer.
• Inspects all rental equipment for damage and reports per procedure.
• Oils and lubricates all tools, equipment and tilt-up braces per specifications.
• Prepares and stages rental orders to go out for delivery.
• Follows company safety policy and procedures.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment; stands for periods up to 60 minutes or more.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to Work Outdoors
• Ability to Heavy Lift Up to 75 pounds
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety .
• Knowledge of Machines and Hand & Power tools
• Bilingual-Spanish is a plus
