Job summary

Angel Fire Resort in New Mexico is seeking a Rental Technician Supervisor to join the Children’s Ski School team this winter. You will repair, adjust, and prepare ski and snowboard rental equipment while overseeing the day-to-day operation and performance of the rental technician team.

The ideal candidate has ample experience with ski and snowboard gear, leadership ability, and strong customer service to set a high standard for the crew.

Responsibilities

• Lead rental technician team by writing schedules, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.

• Support Ski School setup and daily operations.
• Maintain organization of tools, parts, and inventory.

Angel Fire Resort is now hiring for a Rental Technician Supervisor to join our Children's Ski School team this winter! In this position, you will repair, adjust, and prepare ski and snowboard rental equipment along with overseeing the day-to-day operation and performance of the rental technician team. The ideal candidate has ample experience working with ski and snowboard gear, and will be able to set the example of excellence for the other technicians to follow. To be successful in this position, you will have experience leading a small team, will have the ability to provide great customer service, and will work well alongside the rest of the Children’s Ski School team.

Base Pay:Starts at $19/hr depending on experience. Free lunch included!

Required Certs or Licenses:Marker Ski Binding Certification (can be obtained within the first few days of employment)

Attendance:Regular, predictable, punctual, and in-person attendance is essential, includes weekends and holidays as scheduled

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Lead rental technician team by writing schedule, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance on the job.
• Work alongside technicians in assigning rental gear to guests, adjusting gear for use such as setting bindings, and inspecting rental gear upon return.
• Repair rental gear and maintain rental fleet including periodic tuning of all skis and working with power tools.
• Following all binding manufacturer’s requirements and rigorously test the safety of rental equipment before and after use.
• Assist with Ski School setup and break down such as shoveling snow from decks and walkways, setting up ski school fences and yard course, and picking up trash around facility.
• Prepare the facility to receive children and parents for each day of scheduled operation.
• Direct rental technicians with tasks throughout the day to ensure ongoing productivity.
• Track, store, and maintain organization of tools, parts, and inventory.
• Complete other tasks and projects as assigned by Ski School management.

Other:

Orange, black, grey, or white long sleeve shirts are to be worn under the uniform vest (no t-shirts or other colors). Black pants or nice jeans are to be worn.
