Job summary

June Mountain is seeking a friendly, energetic Equipment Rental Associate to deliver an exceptional rental experience for guests in a fast-paced setting. You will assist guests with the rental process, fittings, and ski check operations while upholding safety and guest satisfaction.

The role emphasizes strong communication, a customer-first attitude, and teamwork in a seasonal, on-site environment at a California resort location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous guest service experience desirable.
• Bright, energetic, outgoing and customer oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide information to guests and assist with rental process.
• Sell rental, sport school, and ticket products.
• Take deposits and up-sell items.
• Issue rental equipment and fit boots/bindings.
• Set up and manage outside ski check operation.
• Maintain and improve guest experience with clean ski area properties.
• Perform simple maintenance on rental equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service in fast-paced environment.

About this position

Creates and delivers an extraordinary equipment rental experience for our Guests in a fast-paced and FUN environment. If you are a social person, and enjoy little "perks" like ski or ride breaks, this might be for you! Assists guests with all aspects of rental process and ski check operation.

Rental functions

• providing information
• selling all rental, sport school and ticket products
• taking deposits
• up-selling all items
• issuing rental equipment
• fitting boots and bindings
• Performing simple maintenance on rental equipment.
• Set up/take down and manning of the outside ski check operation.
• Maintain and improve guest experience through clean up of all ski area properties.

Requirements

• Bright, energetic, outgoing, well spoken, enthusiastic, and customer oriented.
• The ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests is essential.
• Some basic mechanical and cash handling experience are desirable.
• An ability to work in a team oriented environment with an upbeat, enthusiastic personality.
• High school graduate or equivalent work experience.
• Previous guest service experience is desirable.

Hourly pay rate: $20.00 to $21.47
