Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company is seeking staff for June Mountain in California. You will help guests with parking, traffic control and ski equipment handling, while enjoying a scenic mountain environment and employee benefits including season-pass access and discounts.

Qualifications

• Guest service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with parking, traffic direction and June Mountain parking setup.
• Guide guests to available parking and direct vehicle flow.
• Assist with unloading/loading ski equipment.
• Support guests with jumping starts and snow shoveling as needed.
• Maintain safety and courteous guest interactions in busy conditions.

Hourly pay rate: $20.00 to $21.47

A little about this position:

• Assists guests with parking, traffic direction and the set up of the June Mountain parking lot.
• Direct guests to appropriate parking availability.
• Direct vehicle traffic flow.
• Assist with traffic flow and cross walks.
• Assist guests with unloading and loading of ski equipment.
• Assist guests with jump starting and/or shoveling.

Requirements:

• Must have fewer than 4 points on DMV record.
• Guest service experience required.
Enthusiasm and willingness to perform cheerfully outdoors in all weather conditions.
• This is a HIGH visibility position, requiring a confident and outgoing individual with outstanding verbal communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
