Job summary

Production Resource Group LLC in the United States seeks a qualified person to organize and prepare rental equipment for corporate and theatrical applications, ensuring items are prepped, logged, and ready for use or shipment.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, tool familiarity, forklift operation, and the ability to work overtime with a team minded approach; PRG offers health, dental, vision, PTO and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Possess personal toolbox with basic mechanics tools.
• Basic tool list includes hammer, multiple screwdrivers, wrenches and tape measure.
• Repair capabilities with mechanical & electrical background.
• Mechanically inclined individual with hands-on experience.
• Computer literate and capable with common tools.
• Ability to mig-weld is a plus.
• High School diploma required and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Functions: Pull, Prep, Test, Repair, return to inventory all equipment in the Rental Department.
• Prep all rental inventory both in and out of TEAM.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Log in and out inventory accurately.
• Process all paperwork neatly and without error.
• Identify equipment by name and understand its function.
• Overtime and weekends may be required.
• Work with a team to move scenery and equipment.
• Load and unload trucks safely and prepare equipment for shipping.
• Move equipment with forklifts and navigate TEAM system.
• Fill out purchase requisitions in Oracle.
• Operate forklifts safely and certify chain hoists as needed.

Responsibilities

PRG Scenic Technologies is seeking a qualified person to organize & prepare rental equipment to be used in corporate & theatrical applications.

• Functions: Pull, Prep, Test, Repair, return to inventory all equipment associated with the Rental Department.
• Prep all rental inventory both in and out of TEAM.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Accurately log in and out inventory.
• Process all paperwork neatly and without error.
• Identify all equipment and product by name and have a basic understanding of function.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends when job requires.
• Must be able to work with people with a team mind set.(takes two people to carry scenery)
• Load and Unload all trucks with equipment in a safe and efficient manner when required.
• Prepare equipment for shipping with proper wrapping or crating techniques.
• Move equipment throughout shop or onto and off truck or flatbeds with all styles of forklifts.
• Work for Tool Room/Parts Room Supervisor when necessary.
• Must be able to navigate through TEAM system in the event Rental Supervisor is out of the office.
• Fill out purchase requisitions in Oracle.
• Operate all forklifts in a safe manner.
• Must be able to certify chain hoists.
• Must be able to solder cable connections.
• Set up or assist in set up of rental equipment for in house test and adjust or client demo.
• Maintain an organized safe work area.
• Correct subordinates from performing a potential hazardous action.

Qualifications

• Must have personal tool box with basic mechanics tools.
• Basic tool list required: claw hammer, Philips screwdriver, slotted screw driver, large slotted screw driver, ADJ wrench, Allen key set, wire strippers, diagonal plyers, feeler gauges, 30’ tape measure.
• Tools required by 1 year of employment: screw gun with battery charger, grinder, air ratchet, air drill, voltmeter, ratchet/socket set metric and standard, wrench set metric and standard.
• Repair capabilities w/ mechanical & electrical background.
• Mechanically inclined individual.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to mig-weld steel a plus.
• High School diploma
• Good communication skills

The pay range for this position is estimated to be $18.50-21.50/hour. Actual salary to be determined by the experience, knowledge, skills, and abilitiesof the applicant combined with the location and alignment with market data. Additionally, we offer comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k)-retirement savings plan with matching contributions.
