Job summary

Tamarack Resort is seeking a team member to repair and maintain the rental fleet and guest equipment, ensuring guests receive properly fitted gear and that equipment meets manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities include high-quality guest service, equipment inspection, and timely reporting of repairs, while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and completing all tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain rental fleet and guest equipment.
• Ensure equipment is fitted properly for guests.
• Adjust equipment to manufacturer specs.
• Handle guest and customer requests with efficiency and a positive attitude.
• Maintain service standards for Tamarack Resort.
• Fit guests with appropriate size and type of rental equipment.
• Repair and maintain guest equipment to high standards.
• Inspect equipment and report deficiencies.
• Complete all reports on repaired equipment in a timely manner.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.

SUMMARY

Repair and maintain rental fleet and guest equipment. Strong knowledge of rental equipment to assure guests have proper fitting equipment. Adjust rental equipment to manufacturer specs. Handle guest and customer requests with efficiency and a good attitude.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties may be assigned.

• Ensure Tamarack Resort standards of service are always delivered.
• Provide excellent customer service to guest, homeowners, and fellow employees
• Fit guests with appropriate size and type of rental equipment.
• Repair and maintain guest equipment to the highest standards.
• Inspect and ensure integrity of equipment, reporting any deficiencies.
• Adjust rental equipment to manufacturer specs.
• Handle guest and customer requests with efficiency and good attitude.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Handle all equipment with respect and maintain a safe working environment.
• Complete all reports on repaired equipment in a timely manner.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Prior work experience with a ski resort, seasonal business and/or the hospitality industry is highly preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of geometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
