Job summary

Boyne Mountain Resort is seeking a Ski & Snowboard Technician to assist guests in selecting and fitting equipment, and to adjust bindings. You will handle rental paperwork and return gear to the designated area.

Applicants must be 18+, available at least 3 days per week including Fridays and Saturdays, able to stand for 8 hours, lift up to 25 pounds, and willing to work in a repetitive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to fit and adjust skis.
• Available to work at least 3 days a week and must be available every Friday and Saturday evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand for 8 hours.
• Willing to work in a repetitive environment.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds repetitively.

Overview

As a Ski & Snowboard Technician you are responsible for selecting and fitting snowboard equipment, skis, poles, adjusting bindings and completing necessary paperwork for guests equipment rentals.

The Ski & Snowboard Technician's typical job functions include:

• Correctly selecting and fitting snowboards and skis for guests
• Properly adjusting ski and snowboarding bindings
• Completing paperwork for guests rental equipment
• Returning rental equipment to designated area

Qualifications

This position might be for you if:

• You are at least 18 years old to fit and adjust skis and will need to complete rental binding certification.
• You are available to work at least 3 days a week and must be available every Friday and Saturday evenings, weekends and every holiday.
• Are able to work on your feet for 8 hours.
• Are willing to work in a repetive enviroment.
• You are able to lift up to 25 pounds repetitively.
