• Perform end-of-day cash outs.
• Tune skis and snowboards.
• Perform weekly maintenance on at least 10% of fleet with inspections and record-keeping.
• Sweep work areas and customer areas daily; empty trash and recycling.
• Snow removal around doorways and deck; wash entrance/exit doors.
• Answer calls from customers about rental shop services.
• Restock rental shop retail items as needed.

(Other duties as assigned): • Assists in adding equipment inventory in new P.O.S. system by tagging equipment and inputting information into software system; maintains accurate inventory record-keeping. • Rents equipment to customers including reviewing customer rental forms to ensure completion and proper signatures. • Takes payment from customers and makes accurate change. • Assists customers with the fitting of boots and with equipment problems. • Sets bindings for customers. • Explains how equipment works and how to distinguish your equipment from others. • Be responsible for cash box and credit card machine. • Preforms cash outs at the end of day. • Tuning of customers skis and snowboards. • Performs weekly maintenance of a minimum of 10% of the fleet including inspections and testing and record-keeping. • Sweeps work area and customer area daily and empties trash and recycling bins as needed. • Snow removal around doorways and deck area, washing of entrance and exit doors. • Answers calls from customers relating to rental shop services and items. • Restock rental shop retail items as-needed.*Maple Ski Ridge is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities.*---## Qualifications**Required Skills & Qualifications:*** Ability to read, analyze, and interpret charts* Ability to read numbers in very small size to ensure ski DINs are accurately set and equipment is safe for use* Ability to write reports, maintain accurate records* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and the general public* Ability to interpret measurements* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment**Physical Requirements to Perform Essential Functions:*** Ability to withstand exposure to wet or humid conditions (non-weather)* Ability to safely work while near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; outdoor weather conditions and risk of electrical shock* Ability to walk and stand for hours at a time* Ability to comfortably kneel, bend, squat, sit, reach, carry, and lift up to 40lbs* Ability to work in loud work environments* Must have adequate verbal, auditory, and vision abilities to communicate with people, utilize machinery safely.* Must have dexterity to handle small tools and parts---*The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and areas of the shop are often wet from snow.*
