Job summary

NC Power System, the Caterpillar dealer serving Washington state, seeks skilled technicians to diagnose and repair rental fleet equipment including CAT generators and air compressors.

Role involves preventive maintenance, accurate paperwork, and clear communication with customers and teammates. Requires a GED, 1 year mechanical experience with diesel equipment, and a valid license. Basic tools are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year mechanical experience troubleshooting and/or servicing diesel equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office or other comparable system.
• Must possess the ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
• Positive, self-starter who enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide your own basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment (mainly generators and compressors).
• All technicians must possess great communication skills that include strong interpersonal skills to communicate with other technicians and customers
• Complete necessary paperwork timely and accurately
• Perform data entry and use relevant computer systems and software as directed.
