Job summary

Worldwide Power Products is hiring an Entry Level Technician in Houston, TX to support higher level technicians with diagnostics, setup, and maintenace tasks. You will transport parts, document work, and assist with generator maintenance while learning on the job.

You will work under supervision, attend required training, and perform duties safely and efficiently in a hands-on environment. The role offers room for growth through the career ladder and company-paid incentives.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position assisting higher level technicians.
• Must own basic set of hand-tools and steel-toed boots.
• Ability to follow supervisor instructions and perform tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians in diagnostic testing, setting up and breaking down cable, carrying tools and other items.
• Transport parts to worksites.
• Concisely and timely document all work, and repairs completed.
• Pressuring washing generators/units.
• Receive tasks from higher level technicians and complete all tasks in a neat, orderly, and safe manner.
• Attend training sessions as required.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

The Entry Level Technician will be assisting higher level technicians in performing their duties. This position will also be expected to perform basic duties on their own as directed by their supervisor or other higher-level technicians.

Essential Duties

Service Support

1. Assist technicians in diagnostic testing, setting up and breaking down cable, carrying tools and other items.
2. Transport parts to worksites.
3. Concisely and timely document all work, and repairs completed.
4. Pressuring washing generators/units
5. Receive tasks from higher level technicians and complete all tasks in a neat, orderly, and safe manner.

Safety

1. Safely operate company vehicle, in accordance with Texas DOT regulations and the company policy.
2. Report all recognized unsafe conditions or acts to Management.
3. Wear proper PPE when necessary.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Attend training sessions as required.
2. Perform all other duties as assigned.
