Avis Budget Group is seeking a detail-oriented Rental Fleet Dispatcher to coordinate the movement and availability of our rental fleet. This on-site role involves tracking vehicle status, dispatching to locations, and communicating with internal teams and partners to ensure timely customer service.

The position emphasizes organization, multitasking, and coordination in a fast-paced environment, with shift flexibility and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Willingness to work outdoors or near a mechanical shop.
• Flexibility to work all shifts.
• Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• On-site presence required; position cannot be performed remotely.
• 6 months dispatcher/logistics experience is a bonus.

Responsabilités

This role is a great fit for candidates with experience in logistics, dispatching, retail operations, or other fast-paced environments.

As a Rental Fleet Dispatcher, you will coordinate the movement and availability of our rental vehicle fleet to meet customer demand. Depending on the location, your responsibilities may include inventorying vehicles, tracking the status and movement of cars, and dispatching vehicles to the appropriate locations.

You will communicate with internal teams and, at times, external partners to coordinate vehicle movements or transports, prepare and compile reports, and help ensure vehicles are available, positioned correctly, and ready for customers. Your work plays a key role in supporting a smooth customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Driver’s License
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, Word)
• Willingness to work outdoors or near a mechanical shop with a moderate noise level
• Flexibility to work all shifts
• Must be able to type, sit, stand, walk, or move throughout the rental lot; enter and exit vehicles for prolonged periods; and drive a variety of vehicles
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
• 6 months dispatcher, logistics, or coordination experience in a fast-paced environment is a bonus
