Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Rental Fleet Dispatcher to coordinate the movement and availability of the rental vehicle fleet to meet customer demand. You will inventory and track vehicles, dispatch them to the right locations, and communicate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to multitask, and comfort working behind the scenes in a busy environment. On-site presence is required at our facilities.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word).
• Willingness to work outdoors or near a mechanical shop with moderate noise.
• Flexibility to work all shifts.
• Must be able to type, sit, stand, walk, or move throughout the rental lot; drive various vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate movement and availability of the rental vehicle fleet to meet customer demand.
• Inventory vehicles and track status and movement.
• Dispatch vehicles to locations as needed.
• Communicate with internal teams and partners to coordinate movements and transports.
• Prepare and compile reports to ensure vehicles are available and properly positioned for customers.

Depending on the location, your responsibilities may include inventorying vehicles, tracking the status and movement of cars, and dispatching vehicles to the appropriate locations.You will communicate with internal teams and, at times, external partners to coordinate vehicle movements or transports, prepare and compile reports, and help ensure vehicles are available, positioned correctly, and ready for customers.
