Job summary

Stanford University seeks a Reporting & Budget Administrator within Faculty Staff Housing (FSH) to manage financial reporting for over 2,000 rental units across seven communities. The hybrid role reports to the Associate Director of Rental Communities Asset Management and supports monthly journals, budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic accounting principles including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Experience with property management accounting or financial reporting systems such as Yardi or RealPage.
• Experience supporting an annual budget cycle including forecasting and periodic financial reports.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication with residents, managers and internal partners.

Responsibilities

• Review, record, and report income and expenses for Stanford rental properties.
• Assist with monthly journals and the annual accounting and budget cycle activities.
• Provide financial analysis, forecasts, and recommendations to FSH.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on rental-related financial issues.
• Collaborate with property managers and internal partners to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
