Job summary

Frank's Supply Company in El Paso, TX seeks a Rental Yard Technician to support rental counter staff and ensure smooth equipment operations. You will perform basic maintenance, instruct customers on safe operation, load/unload gear, and help keep the yard clean and organized while complying with safety rules.

Strong mechanical aptitude, reliable attendance, and a valid driver's license are required; rental experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; physical role.
• Own tools and basic repair skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong reading and comprehension skills.
• Customer service and communication skills essential.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality preferred.
• Some rental experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Minor servicing and repair of rental equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Instruct customers on safe operation of equipment and safety issues.
• Load and unload equipment listed on the contract for the customer.
• Record damaged or missing equipment with hour meter and fuel data where applicable.
• Keep work area and yard clean and organized.
• Assist in other areas as needed.
• Adhere to all safety requirements.
