Job summary

The role focuses on servicing light to medium construction equipment, performing preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and preparing work orders. A valid driver's license and own tools are required, with rental experience preferred.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3-5 years experience diagnosing and repairing light and medium construction equipment
• Experience with electric over hydraulic controls, electric, gas and diesel machinery
• Rental experience preferred
• Good reading and comprehension skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have own tools
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR and current medical card

Responsibilities

• Analyze equipment malfunctions and determine proper solution with independent judgment
• Repair all types of equipment at the job site to ensure proper working condition
• Diagnose complex mechanical equipment problems
• Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary repairs and downtime
• Perform safety inspections on equipment
• Create work orders and assess time and cost of repairs
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Adhere to all governmental, company and equipment safety requirements
