Job summary

Carolina CAT is seeking a skilled technician to troubleshoot, remove, install, replace, rebuild, repair, and test parts and equipment on construction machinery. You will review shift schedules, inspect and maintain vehicles, and ensure documentation is complete for rental transactions.

Success requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of related experience, with the ability to read technical manuals and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; minimum of three years of related experience.
• Ability to read and understand technical data/service manuals.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule at start of shift and prepare for operations.
• Inspect equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and replace oil, filters, belts, and hoses as needed.
• Fully inspect machines coming in/out of rent and document paperwork per store procedures.
• Disassemble/reassemble parts with tools and use diagnostic equipment to test.
• Move and access equipment using hoists, forklifts, and other aids.
