Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the local language; reads and comprehends technical data/service manuals and writes legibly.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 70 pounds.
• Stand for extended periods, perform repetitive bending, and achieve torque specs per procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, remove, install, replace, rebuild, repair and test parts/equipment on construction equipment.
• Use tools and records systems to reference parts and enter data.
• Disassemble/reassemble parts or equipment; clean parts; perform diagnostic checks and operate powered equipment.
• Access all parts of vehicles by climbing onto/into them.
• Move parts with overhead cranes and other aids; transport to locations for disassembly/repair/reassembly.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance; change oil, filters, belts, coolants, hoses; drain/clean/refill fuel systems.
• Weld frames and wear strips; grind welds smooth.
