Job summary

Gillman Home Center in Indiana is seeking a Rental Manager to oversee planning, coordinating, and directing all equipment rental operations at the assigned location. You will maintain up-to-date inventory and serve as a technical adviser on equipment issues.

You will handle rental contracts at POS, deliver and pick up gear, ensure timely returns, and uphold safety and customer service standards. This is a full-time role requiring flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical expertise is a must for this position.
• Valid driver's license; For-Hire Endorsement not required but preferred.
• Stihl power equipment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers.
• Open and close rental contracts and reservations; ring out rental transactions on POS.
• Deliver and pick up rental equipment at customer location.
• Monitor and track equipment daily and manage returns; inform management of late returns.
• Inspect equipment for damage, fuel levels and cleanliness; arrange repairs when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe rental area and open/close store as assigned.
