Job summary

Thompson Machinery is seeking a Rental Equipment Inspector to inspect rental equipment for damage and safety prior to rental and after return. The role includes basic preventative maintenance and directing delivery vehicles at the Briley Store location.

You will assist in asset inventory, operate equipment safely and work under the Service Shop Supervisor. High school diploma and relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or education a plus.
• Prior relevant experience preferred (equipment, automotive, industrial, etc.).
• Proficiency with MS Office 365, Outlook and able to communicate via email effectively.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rental equipment for damage and safety before rental.
• Prepare equipment for rentals with basic preventative maintenance.
• Direct incoming/outgoing delivery vehicles and assist in asset inventory.
• Operate lifting devices safely and ensure load security measures.
