Job summary

Cresco Equipment Rentals has a need for a Rental Coordinator at our Susanville, CA location. The role collaborates with customers, vendors, and branch personnel to meet needs and ensure equipment readiness and safety.

You will handle customer service, administrative tasks, and inventory control, including writing rental agreements, processing invoices, and performing credit checks. A strong emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction guides daily work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in equipment rental.
• Prior sales and/or customer service experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with inquiries in person and over the phone.
• Write rental agreements and process invoices.
• Perform credit checks and verify insurance availability.
• Communicate equipment and attachment availability to customers.
• Create service call sheets and assist with inventory control.
• Foster customer relations to improve loyalty and satisfaction.
• Check returned equipment for damage and record hours, mileage, and fuel for billing.
• Follow up with customers to gather information for rental requests.
• Maintain knowledge of competitor practices and rental rates.
